Returns & Refunds
Not quite happy with your purchase? That’s okay we don’t take it personal, but we do ask that you check a few things before returning your order back to us.
You have 14 days upon receiving your order to decide whether to keep or return. Please note items are only eligible for return if they meet the following requirements:
- Must be in its original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags and packaging intact.
- Items that are marked as "Sale" or "Non-Returnable" are not eligible for returns or exchange.
- If your item is faulty please contact customer service before returning to us to discuss your options.
Our return & refund policy also includes the following:
- We offer return for refund / exchange / online store credit for UK orders only
- We offer International refunds.
- Return processing time takes up to 10 working days from receiving your return back to us, however we will aim to process this quicker.
- The customer is liable for covering the return postage back to our warehouse, please use a reliable postal service and make sure you receive proof of postage when returning your order back to us to prevent any further issues.
- Original shipping costs are not refunded.
- Exchanges depend only on stock availability.
- Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment used for the original purchase, unless a different request is made i.e. credit note, or exchange.
- Bank processing time: typically 5-10 days. If your refund is taking longer than this but you have received a returns confirmation email from us, please contact your bank. Once the return is processed on our end, there isn’t anything else we can do.
How to make a return?
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Access our Returns Portal online.
- Provide your order number with the # and your email address.
- Select the item(s) you'd like to return.
- Choose whether you'd like to Return, Exchange or receive Store Credit for each item (UK only).
- Package up your parcel and ship with a trusted postal service.
- Keep a hold of your proof of postage.
- You will receive an email from our team when the order has been processed and received at our warehouse.
International Returns Policy:
- The Sixth Language does not accept international exchanges. Returns are accepted for eligible items as outlined in this policy, but exchanges for international orders are not available.
- International customers must pay for their own return postage and will not receive their original shipping costs back on the order.
- To make an International return, please access our Returns Portal Online and follow the steps in “how to make a return.”
Changes to the Returns Policy
The Sixth Language reserves the right to modify this returns policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. By making a purchase from The Sixth Language, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this 14-day returns policy.
